  Ghana Entry Requirements for US Citizens

  • Valid Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date.
  • Visa:
    • e-Visa: Apply online through the Ghana Immigration Service website.
    • Visa on Arrival: Obtain a visa upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport.
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate: Proof of vaccination is mandatory.

  The Refund Policy

  • Your first payment (Deposit) is fully refundable for 15 days after it has been collected.

    Each monthly payment becomes non-refundable 30 days after the due date for that payment.

    All trips are non-transferable.

    Refunds can take up to 30 days from the date it is requested.

    In the event we are not able to visit our main desired destination for any reason, this trip will be postponed to a later date(s). If you are unable to attend the new dates, we will offer you the option to go anytime on your own. Any request to cancel under this circumstance will abide by our above refund/cancellation policy.

    Travel/Cancellation insurance is highly recommended for ALL Big Dream Travelers’ trips. Please contact a BDT representative for assistance in getting you a quote.

  Alone Traveler Requirements,

  While you have the option of a single occupancy room, you’re not obligated to choose it if you’re traveling solo. We understand that paying extra for a single room can limit your vacation budget.

  For this reason, we offer the option of pairing you with a suitable roommate at no extra cost. Roommates are matched based on their personality traits, age, and even astrological signs, as indicated on their registration form. Before your departure, you’ll receive your roommate’s contact information, allowing you to get acquainted beforehand.

  Day 1: Arrival in Accra

  • Morning: Arrival at Kotoka International Airport.
  • Afternoon: Welcome and transfer to your hotel.
  • Evening: Rest or an optional city tour of Accra.
  • Night: Welcome dinner at a local restaurant, showcasing Ghanaian cuisine.

   

  Day 2: 

  • Morning: Visit the National Museum of Ghana to learn about Ghana’s rich history and culture.
  • Afternoon: Explore the vibrant Makola Market, a bustling hub of local goods and handicrafts.

  Day 3: Cape Coast and Elmina

  • Morning: Depart for Cape Coast and visit the historic Cape Coast Castle, a poignant reminder of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
  • Afternoon: Continue to Elmina and explore the Elmina Castle, one of the oldest European buildings in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Evening: Relax on the beautiful Elmina Beach.

   

  Day 4: Accra Historic visit

  • Morning: Depart for Accra.
  • Afternoon: Visit Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & mausoleum. Ghana first President
  • Evening: Explore the Ghana’s cultural center.
